Tested out Music Mate @getmusicmate , an AI-powered song generation tool that helps DJs prepare their sets. The idea is you type in your prompt, select your genre, fine tune what you’re looking for and it gives you a curated set list.

Very interesting use of AI tools for DJ s. Let me know what you think about the software or how you feel about using AI in general when DJ’ing

This open deck was a great learning lesson for me because it was lesson on failure and adapting. Being a DJ is hard in itself and failure (especially in front of a live audience) does suck but it can also be an opportunity for growth.
